Owner Rob DiNic
(short for DiNicolantonio) started his business in the fall of 2004. He has
over twenty years of corporate aviation experience in addition to four
years of Marine Corps Aviation experience.
In the Marines, Rob was trained by McDonald Douglas on the AV-8B aircraft.
He was a Power Plant mechanic on the Flight line and Quality Control
Inspector. In 1991 he went to work for Cypress Aviation as a mechanic.
Cypress was a certified repair station where he worked as a mechanic,
painter, NDT technician, cabinetry finisher and interior sewing/installer.
For 15 years at Cypress, the last 8 he was the interior shop supervisor, Rob
learned many skills that make him uniquely qualified for every aspect of
interior refurbishment. When Cypress closed in 2004, Rob started RDI with
himself and one helper. His first job was a complete interior on a Lear 55
for one of Cypress Aviations previous customers.
Since that first job, RDI has worked on everything from a Cessna 150,
to many different models of Bells, Hughes,
Agustas, Citations, King Airs, Hawkers, Lear Jets, JetStars, Beechjets,
Challengers, Merlins, Falcons, Gulfstreams, and everything in between.
Rob’s energy and passion for what he does is unsurpassed in the aviation
industry.

Grant George –
Grant is our Senior Quality Control Supervisor, with an extensive background
in mechanical repairs, metal and composite design, fabrication,
retro-fitting and assembly. During Grant’s 9 years with Grumman Aerospace
and 6 years with Northrop Corp., he served as assembler, lead mechanic,
proto-type mechanic, manufacture and quality control co-ordinator. Grant’s
worked on all types of military and corporate aircraft including the B2
Bomber. While serving as lead mechanic on the B2 Bomber project, he was the
first to receive a Zero Defects Award. In between aviation jobs, he’s worked
for 6 years doing hand crafted woodwork on multi-millon dollar mansions,
classic sailboats and custom yachts. Grant is the guy you go to when no one
else can get the job done!
– Scott Hamilton –
Scott is our lead Design Engineer , with 18 years experience in all phases
of interiors and upholstery. From hand crafting 1930’s Hot Rod interiors
from scratch, to custom designing GV seats, Scott’s done it all. He’s worked
with customer’s on cutting foam to ensure proper lumbar support and comfort
to Top Stitching custom designs, using glove soft leather on Lamborghini
seats. Scott’s attention to detail is what sets him apart from the rest.

Steve Wagner
–
Steve has 28 years at Cypress Aviation in Lakeland Florida. Cypress was a
Certified Repair Station, performing all facets of aviation repairs and
refurbishment including maintenance, paint, interior, cabinetry, avionics
and ndt.
Steve has hands on experience on Cheyennes, King Airs, Sabreliners,
Hawkers, Jetstars, Citations, Challengers, Lear Jets, Falcons and
Gulfstreams. Over the last 3 years, he has become a valuable asset to our
team.
